Should I wash my menstrual cup or disc before using the Steamer?

Yes, you’ll want to give your menstrual cup or disc a good wash with a gentle soap (like Pixie Wash) to take off any gunk before using the Steamer.

Can I store my menstrual cup/disc inside the Steamer?

To ensure proper airflow, we do not recommend using the Sophie Steamer for storage. However, after sterilization, you can leave the lid open to allow your cup or disc to air dry inside. The removable Cup Stand can also serve as a drying stand.
